A family run business which has been in Skipton for over 20 years, The Dales Cottage Cafe is well known for its traditional Sunday roast dinner, which is served in their homely and welcoming dining area. A hit with locals and visitors alike, their Sunday lunch starts at £6.95 and options include generous portions of Roast Beef, Lamb, Turkey, Chicken, Braised Steak, Liver & Onions, Pork Sausage and a Vegetarian option with all the trimmings.

Le Bistro Des Amis
Le Bistro Des Amis is one our favourite restaurants in Skipton. Not only do they have an extensive menu of delicious French-inspired dishes, they are famous for their excellent service and the ambience found within their town centre restaurant. When it comes to Sunday Dinner, there are few restaurants in the centre of Skipton which can compete. They offer a range of meats, including their 28 Days Aged Topside Yorkshire Beef (which is divine) complemented with all the classic Sunday lunch trimmings and delicious red wine gravy. Their Sunday menu is available at £14.50 for one course, £18.50 for two and £22.50 for three courses.

The Bull At Broughton
One of Yorkshire’s landmark pubs, the Bull at Broughton is found on the famous Broughton Hall Estate and is well known for its excellent hospitality. What’s more, their chefs are passionate about food and have built a reputation locally for using local and seasonal produce. Although well known for having an extensive and seasonally minded menu, perhaps their pièce de résistance is their fantastic Sunday lunch offering. Their 21-day Aged Roast Beef is £14.50 and comes with Yorkshire Pudding, Roast Potatoes, Mash Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables and Gravy… what more could you want?

The Angel Inn
The Angel Inn at Hetton dates back to the 15th century and has undergone numerous changes during its long history. Owned by Juilet Watkins and managed by her son, Pascal Watkins, this traditional Dales dining pub offers customers more than your average pub food menu. Known for serving high-quality food and wines at reasonable prices, diners can choose 3 courses for £24.00 or 2 for £20 from their Sunday Lunch menu. Main courses include ‘Confit Shoulder of Lamb’, ‘Curried Cod’ and ’30 day aged Sirloin of Beef (£3.00 supplement).

Keelham Farm Shop opened in Skipton back in 2015 and it has been incredibly popular with locals and tourists. Owned by a family of farmers and butchers, they only serve great-tasting, locally sourced produce. Open from 8 am until 5 pm on Sundays, Keelham Kitchen offers an excellent lunch menu including mouth-wateringly delicious main courses such as their ‘Pie of the Day’, which can be ordered for one person at £9.95 or for two, at £15.95.

The Devonshire Arms Brasserie serves Sunday Lunch from 12 pm to 4 pm and, with its idyllic location, it is perfect for an afternoon outing with the family. Choose two courses from their Sunday menu for £26 or three courses for £30. Start with Celeriac and Apple Soup or Ham Hock Terrine before tucking into Roast Pork Loin or Pan Fried Hake and finishing off with their divine Chocolate & Amaretto Tart.
